What we collect

  • No forms or accounts. There are no reader accounts, sign-up forms or newsletter boxes on this site.
  • Emails you send us. If you email an@digitaldatadriven.com, we keep your message and address so we can reply.
  • Server and hosting logs. Our hosting provider records basic technical data such as IP address, browser user agent and timestamps. We use it for security, abuse prevention and reliability.
  • Optional analytics. Only if you choose Accept All in the cookie banner, privacy-friendly analytics may record which pages are read. At present no analytics script is installed.

What we do not do

We do not use advertising trackers. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising.

Why we use it

Logs are kept on the basis of our legitimate interest in running a secure, reliable site. Emails are handled so we can respond to you. Analytics run only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Processors

We use a website hosting provider to serve the site and keep its logs. If analytics are added, the analytics provider will also act as a processor. Processors handle data only on our instructions and for the purposes above.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept for a limited period set by the hosting provider, then deleted. Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your message, and deleted on request unless we have a legal reason to keep them.

Your rights

Under applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 and, for readers in the EU or UK, the GDPR and UK GDPR, you can ask us to:

  • give you access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your data;
  • stop optional analytics by withdrawing your consent at any time.

Readers in the EU or UK can also complain to their local data protection authority.

International transfers

The site is operated from India and served through hosting infrastructure that may store or process data in other countries. Where data leaves your country, we rely on the safeguards our providers offer under applicable law.
